Zaisan Hill Memorial

On top of the Zaisan hill located south of the city over the Zaisan Bridge, stands a memorial monument that honors Soviet and Mongolian soldiers who fought in WWII. Ascending some 600 flights of stairs from the bottom, or around 300 from the parking lot on the second floor, one can see the story telling mosaic from the inside of the circle shaped monument. Above all, it is said that the stunning panoramic view of the city is most rewarding and incomparable to any other observation points.
