Day 1. Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
Upon your arrival in Ulaanbaatar, your preferred language speaking guide will warmly welcome you, and take you to a local restaurant for dinner. After dinner, check-in to your preferred *** to ***** hotel and rest overnight. (D)
Day 2. Burd/Elsen Tasarkhai sand dune
Start the morning with buffet breakfast at the hotel, and the tour starts off in direction of “Elsen Tasarkhai” sand dune in Uvurkhangai province. On the way, enjoy “Nomadic show” from 10:00-12:00 pm. The show briefly introduces you to the ways of Mongolian Nomads’ life. Lunch and dinner is at the camp, and the night is spent there. (B, L, D)
Day 3. Karakorum Ancient Capital City
Following breakfast at the camp, hiking to sand dune, you should prepare your sunscreen oil, sun glass and hat to protect your skin from the Gobi sun. After hiking, visit local nomadic herder family and ride a camel. Experience their unique nomad lifestyle. Then drive 100 km to Karakorum which was Mongolian ancient capital. Here you can visit Erdene Zuu Monastery, The Turtle rock, museum of Karakorum and Khaadiin Khaad hill. Lunch in Karakorum local restaurant. Drive back to tourist camp. Dinner and overnight in the camp. (B, L, D)
Day 4. Hustai National Park
Breakfast in the camp. Drive to Hustai National Park. Lunch in the park. In the afternoon, explore the one last true wild horse Takhi/Przewalski horse. And watch the Takhi wild horse’s short documentary in the local museum. Dinner and overnight in the Hustai national park’s camp. (B, L, D)
Day 5. Ulaanbaatar
Breakfast in the camp. Drive back to UB (110 km). Lunch in the local restaurant. After lunch city tour of Ulaanbaatar takes you through some of the principal sights of this unique city. Visit the Gandan Monastery, housing a 26 meter high gilded statue of the Buddha. Your tour also takes you to the Chinggis Khan monument on the Chinggis Khan square and the Museum of National History. We visit the Bogd Khaan’s Winter Palace Museum and the Buddha Park. Dinner and overnight in the hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 6. Terelj National Park
Buffet breakfast in the hotel. Then drive to Terelj National Park, 70 km northwest from Ulaanbaatar. Here you can see beauty of the nature and unique rock formations like turtle, a man reading a book, a woman laying down on the hill. On the way also see world’s biggest Chinggis Khan equestrian Statue Complex. Here you can see wide steppe with panoramic view from the head of Chinggis khan’s horse. After arrival in Terelj National Park have a lunch at the tourist camp after check in. In the afternoon, hiking to Aryabal Temple will take around an hour hiking in the fresh air. Aryabal Temple is one of the significant temple of ancient Buddhist design which is famous as its Manchu Gunj’s story tale. Dinner in the camp. Overnight in the camp. (B, L, D)
Day 7. Terelj National Park/Ulaanbaatar
Breakfast in camp. Today is an active day. While riding a horse with protection equipment for an hour, you arrive in the Tuul river side. Then canoe on Tuul River, undoubtedly very interesting. After canoe tour, get back to the camp and have lunch. After a little rest, the party drives back to Ulaanbaatar. In the UB you can do some shopping in Cashmere factory store. In the evening you will see performance of Mongolian traditional song, dance, contortions and huumii with traditional clothes fashion show. After the show, dinner in the Mongolian barbeque restaurant and overnight in the hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 8. Departure
Buffet breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to Chinggis Khaan International Airport or the Central train station platform for your international departure. (B)

How to get a visa?
If you are a citizen of one of the 46 countries that has been granted “visa-free access” to Mongolia, or 41 countries covered in a 30 day visa-free visit regime until 31st December 2015, you do not need to present a visa when entering Mongolia for tourism purposes. With exception of those, visitors are required to have a valid visa issued by Mongolian diplomatic missions or honorary consuls abroad. The following materials are required to obtain a visa under grounds of tourism:
- Passport, valid for at least six months from the end of intended period of stay in Mongolia
- One passport size photo
- Completed and signed Visa Application Form for Tourists
- Invitation from Mongolia (Either an invitation of the receiving entity, or an official request of the sending country and the organization).
- Transit visa processing requires visa for next destination, and copy of onward tickets.
How to get to Mongolia?
By airways: Providing you with comfort flights, Mongolian national flag carrier MIAT – Mongolian airlines operate scheduled and chartered flights to Ulaanbaatar from Berlin, Frankfurt, Moscow, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka and Beijing. The Chinggis Khaan international airport, conveniently located 18 km southwest of the capital, hosts following carriers apart from MIAT:

By railways: If your holiday duration and plan allows, another great way to get to Mongolia is via trans-Mongolian train. This is possible either from Moscow or Beijing. The journey takes 4 nights and 5 days from Moscow, and 1 night and 2 days from Beijing. It is a magical journey which takes you from the heart of buzzing downtowns of metropolises into nomadic Mongolia, past the Great Wall of China through the Gobi desert, or Russian countryside villages through the Baikal Lake. Foreign currency can be exchanged at . commercial banks and Mongolian national currency “Tugrug” are in notes of 1, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500, 1,000, 5,000, 10,000 and 20,000. The US dollar is preferred currency. Credit cards are also accepted at major hotels, restaurants and tourist shops. UB and major cities have ATMs.
Mongolian nationwide electricity output is 220V/50HZ in a European style plug. Most likely all the wall sockets will feature 2 widely spaced round pins. But no worries if your device is different, because universal plug converter is commonly found at relatively cheap price here in Mongolia.
